Regarding Rescues:
If you have a Dane that you need to find a home for, we will try to help you find a home for
it by placing a picture and information on our web site. On occasion we may
be able to board it until a home is found. When boarded, we ask for a donation of $50.00
"if" you do not have current shot
records for it. We only accept "Purebred Great Danes" (no mix-breeds).
We do not have anything against mixed breeds, but we are not a shelter and the
families visiting our web site are looking for purebred Great Danes.
We
reserve the right to refuse to accept any dog we feel we can not help.
When adopting a rescue dog, no
guarantees are given and a release of liability waiver must be signed. We charge a nominal fee, which helps to cover room, board and
training when needed.
Our policy with our puppies that we sale: If you can not keep your pup, do
not give it to a humane society or a shelter, bring it to us and we will find a
home for it (your money will not be refunded). We can also help re-home it
by placing a picture w/your info. on this web site if this is more convenient
for you.
Regarding Retirees from our Breeding
program: Our retirees will be; spayed/neutered, papers, UTD on
shots, wormings, healthy, health tested, excellent temperaments, trained, socialized,
house-trained, and past the puppy chewing stage. We charge a fee which is
less than we ask for puppies but more than we ask for rescues, which is
determined based on the available dog. Most adult
dogs adapt to their new families very quickly, should you find that one of our
retirees does not adapt well, we will take the retiree back and fully refund
your money.
